The cubbies will help organize our small group time so that the kids will know right where to go to get the materials they will need to help maximize their knowledge on the topic we are learning about. Each of the activities will help expand my collection of small group activities. This way I can have students working on their own so I can put all my attention into the students I am helping at the time. Each of the math activities, such as flash cards and learning wrap-ups, are going to help with my students fluency so that they will be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide on their own automatically. The magnetic board will help with communication with what the kids need to do for homework. I will write what they need do put in their planners for each day. It will also help us to have a place to put what we will be learning that day. The class set of whiteboards will help with both math and literacy it will be a great way for me to quickly assess my students understanding of the lesson we learned that day.
