Going Beyond Simple Note-taking in Learning Math

Help me give my students basic classroom supplies of pocket folders, pencils, glue stick,colored paper and rewards for positive reinforcement to help them to learn in fun and interesting way.

My Project

Interactive notebook is one of the best tools for note -taking. This is one of strategies I use for my students to help them organize information that makes sense to them. This strategy help them master their lessons. They would need basic classroom supplies like pencils, card stocks, colored paper, and glue sticks to complete their interactive notebooks. Having these simple necessities would help them love Math. If they learn how to love Math, they will be motivated to learn Math.

Taking notes is not a very interesting activity for some students, that's why I decided to think of another way.

My students enjoyed completing graphic organizers and foldables and these are some of the things that we can put into their interactive notebooks. I am trying to avoid worksheets that's why I do more scavenger hunt, escape room and station activity. This help students to work collaboratively and they can stand up to these activities.

I love to have fun and engaging discussions with my kids. Motivating them by giving positive reinforcements like Airheads and Jolly Rancher candies would keep them engaged. I also wanted them to have a safe and cozy classroom environment by providing them essential needs like good scents and facial tissue so they don't need to go out of the room and miss parts of the learning. So by donating to our project, you will help in improving and increasing student attention and most importantly, it will increase their academic achievement.
