My students need glue, glue, and more glue! We are super humans who love exploring the amazing world of art... and we fly through glue. Be a rockstar and get us some glue.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in the Cotati Rohnert Park School District, I am so grateful to work with some of the most honest, beautiful, and humble students. I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students are amazing, clever, and some of the most hilarious humans I have ever met.
They like to be super active; they love to make me giggle and love lots of positive attention. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I focus on things I can control... I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hopeful to inspire my kiddos to continue on a path to educational success both in and outside our classroom community.
My Project
For this project, our class has decided to ask for funds relating directly to something we do everyday... work with our hands. We are asking for glue, glue, and literally... more glue. This project is solely focused on some basics that are a little bit expensive for me to purchase on my own, but SO important for my kiddos. We participate in a structured art lesson everyday, and we use glue during almost every part of our day.
Glue is a great way for us, as learners, to practice fine motor and gross motor skills.
We use glue during social studies, science, art, reading, and even math! Talk about an important material we really need and will utilize.
By helping us get to our goal, we will have plenty of Elmers to last us into next school year... and our art will look so cute and we'll put together with the help of glue.
