In our classroom, we strive for independence and excellence. My students work on being as independent as possible. Students will use this requested rolling cart daily to make deliveries, whether that be food, mail, etc. Students with mild to moderate disabilities are very hands-on, and enjoy working and having peer interaction. My students work hard to become a part of our school community and making deliveries is an integral part of that. Some of our students who are deaf and/or blind work really hard to travel independently and are included in this simple activity with the help of a rolling cart. How exciting that ALL students are a part of our classroom when utilizing this special piece of equipment.
