Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are part of a small, close-knit border town nested alongside Mexico. Many of our students cross the border each day to attend school, bringing with them rich cultural experiences and a deep desire to learn. The majority of our students come from low-income households, however, they show up every day with curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning.

Classroom donations will help provide opportunities for our students that might otherwise be out of reach.

These donations will provide the opportunity for ample hands-on activities, discovery, and creativity. With colored pencils, markers, and glue sticks, students may be able to creatively label and color the body parts of our body systems in a way that makes the task as interactive as possible and additionally, meets the needs of all our diverse learners!

Our Anatomy & Physiology high school classroom would greatly benefit from kind and generous donations where students can have the resources they need to make the most out of learning in our classroom every single day. Thank you so much!
