My Project

Panthers are voracious and future voracious readers. Some students race to the library whenever new manga arrives. Some of them wait in 10-person hold lines for romantic graphic novels like "Heartstopper," while some are reluctant to pick up a book until the right one gets recommended by a friend. Some like to re-read their childhood favorites, while others only want to read books about murder. Their reading journeys are varied and fascinating.

All of the books on this list have been recommended or requested by students who are reluctant readers.

They have promised to read them as soon as they arrive in the library!

I also lure students into the library every Friday for Project Lit, where students do activities related to a book of the month and are rewarded with prizes or chips. Our chips stock is running low, and that is an EMERGENCY.

I have a wishlist on a clipboard in the library, and even its margins are full of book requests! Please help me chip away (get it?) at this list and give these middle schoolers the books they want!
