My Project

This project will make such a difference in regards to the passion that they have for learning! It will allow me to help them create something as simple as a finger print character, then turn that into narrative writing about their creation.

My goal for this project is to replenish our depleted art supplies, on utility carts and a wooden organizer, to benefit all of my students.

With these supplies, including paint, whiteboards, handwriting paper, ink pads, and more, I can encourage these young minds to develop their fine motor skills, help them express their thoughts, ideas, and begin writing stories based on their creations.

My students are very special! One of their favorite books is "Ish" by Peter H. Reynolds. They have learned to draw, paint, and write to tell stories from their creations. I encourage my students to have freedom from perfection, and focus on developing their writing skills through the creation of "Ish" art to express themselves.
