My Project

My students are amazing! I am a speech language pathologist that works with students who are primarily non-speaking. Just because they don't use their "voice" doesn't mean they don't have plenty to say!

My students use a variety of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) methods to communicate.

One of the main methods is a core vocabulary picture board. They need access to this board at all times, but it is difficult to use on the playground. Having a vinyl banner with the board on it, will help my students have a consistent (and weather proof) way to play and communicate at recess.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
