My Project

Our students love art but haven't had a chance to work with clay yet! We start with simple projects like pinch pots and coil pots and work our way up to personalized mugs, figurines and masks. Students love the sensory experience of working with clay and the transformation that happens when we put projects in the kiln is always an exciting surprise.

Fire-glazed clay projects are whimsical, colorful, and durable, which means these projects make great gifts that can last a lifetime.

Students learn that making art objects from clay is an ancient practice. Ceramics reveal important information about ancient people, their beliefs and traditions.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
