My Project

Every school year begins with excitement, curiosity, and the opportunity for students to grow. To help my students start the year ready to learn, I am requesting basic classroom supplies that they will use every day. Items such as glue sticks, crayons, dry erase markers, pencil pouches, folders, and other essential materials may seem simple, but they are the foundation of countless learning experiences. These supplies will be used across all subject areas for hands-on activities, creative projects, small-group instruction, independent practice, and classroom collaboration. Dry erase markers allow students to practice skills, make mistakes, and try again without fear. Glue sticks and crayons help bring lessons to life through interactive projects that strengthen understanding and encourage creativity. Other supplies like manila folders, and binders help me prepare student files to house data, and organize content. Durable pocket folders become "Homework" folders for students to transport materials between home and school. Having these materials readily available ensures that every student can fully participate, regardless of their family's ability to provide school supplies.

Title 1 schools like my school have limited funding to purchase behind the scenes' classroom supplies; therefore, many teachers like myself, resort to purchasing the materials they need to prepare their classrooms for the school year.

By providing a well-stocked classroom from the very beginning of the school year, I can spend more time focusing on instruction and building meaningful relationships with my students instead of worrying about replacing depleted supplies. Your support will help create an organized, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child has the tools they need to succeed.
