Their faces lit up with excitement as they explored the new equipment and realized they were about to learn something completely new. For many of my students, this was their very first experience with golf or bowling—activities they had only seen others do.\r\n\r\nWe've been using these resources during math and social studies. Students are learning how to take turns, encourage one another, and practice patience while improving their counting and reading skills. \r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was seeing a student who often hesitates to try new things proudly. It was pure joy and confidence in action.\r\n\r\nNext, we plan to take what we've learned beyond the classroom by visiting a store and practicing these skills in a community setting. The kids have been learning about germination and what a plant needs.\r\n Once the herbs have sprouted and grown into adult plants the kids will help harvest the herbs and we plan to share them with our teachers. The Clifford magazines are simple and easy to follow along. There is also an activity at the end that the students can complete.
