Getting Ready for Spring Science Learning

My Project

I teach in an urban district and my class is themed to bring the forest to the classroom. Students in the city often do not have alot of time or experience in green spaces so I love that I can create a forest classroom to give students a glimpse of nature. I have a special camping area that students get to play in daily and lots of windows with a view of your lovely front lawn and learning garden. Nature in the classroom and stem learning is so much fun to teach.

Watching kindergarteners get excited about the world around them is so amazing.

We work hard and play hard. We need to replenish some items for our spring learning. Our tent has a hole, our playdough is dried out from so much fun, and some of our headphones for our iPads are needing replaced. We love to make music on garageband so headphones are essential! We could also use some bugs to observe and release in our garden. This would allow us to have the best spring learning experience!
