Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in first grade love to come into a warm, welcoming classroom every morning to learn, socialize, and feel at home during our 182 days of instruction in our Southern California classroom.

The materials in this wishlist will allow my students to come to class and feel very comfortable in a beautiful, warm classroom and setting, decorated based on curriculum themes for first grade.

During our recess and lunch periods, my first graders will have their own personalized water bottle to use during our hot back-to-school months: August and September. My students will be elated to begin their first day in first grade with their own personalized water bottle.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
