Getting Physical Books in Our Kids' Hands

Help me give my students physical books at their level and interest to read during independent reading time.

My Project

Our school community is one big family. Every student and teacher really cares about each other. We are all concerned about what the pandemic and remote learning have done to our education. Our school has committed 20 minutes a day to independent reading. During this time students get to pick their own books - not assigned by a teacher. We need books at their level and their interest. The problem is that our classroom libraries are lacking, especially in my room which is a math classroom.

The list of books provided was chosen by the students.

We decided to ask for 2 of each title so we could also have reading partners to talk about the books with.
