My Project

Wiggle Wobble feet for chairs. The feet will give my students movement while still sitting at their desk and not disturbing others.

I teach Special Education.

The majority of my students have a diagnosis of ADHD or Autism. They are very active and have trouble sitting in the classroom for long periods of time. I am hoping the feet will give my students the movement they need while still staying seated.

I would like to have some for my class and some for the students' general education class. I think it would help the teachers not have as many interruptions in their classrooms.

I have borrowed a set from a teacher to try out on a student. It has made a tremendous difference with him. Before he could not sit in a regular chair without flipping it over. Wobble chairs did not help him either. He would fall out of them. He is now sitting with his peers in the general education class without interrupting them.

I have a great group of students who want to be successful just like everyone else. I am hoping these feet will help my students meet their goals.
