Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to create a literacy reading corner in my classroom. My students need a place where they can get comfortable with a rug and beanbag chairs. My second-grade students would love to snuggle up with a mini stuffed animal and read.

My goal is to create an atmosphere that is inviting and a comfortable place where students can discover the magic of reading.

Making a special space in the library can build a culture and love of reading. My students love to find and read books in my library. Having a comfortable place to read will definitely add to and increase their love of reading.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
