I teach first grade at an elementary school. My students love learning about math, science, social studies, writing, phonics and becoming better readers! My students come to school each day full of energy and ready to grow their brains!
Our focus this school year is Get Your Plan On!
Some of my students want to be teachers, doctors, firefighters, nurses, presidents, police officers and NFL quarterbacks!
My students are special because they are beacons that shine and have growth mindsets about their learning and behavior.
My Project
These Lakeshore games will be used during morning work, reading groups and as early finisher work. These games focus on vocabulary , phonics skills and reading comprehension.
Our school's theme this year is GET YOUR PLAY ON.
What better way to engage students than to give them games to play with in small groups that they can lead on their own?
Several games are self correcting, allowing students to development ownership of their learning at a young age. These games also allow for collaboration and cooperation, which are a part of my school's core values.
