This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is no secret that financial literacy has been sort of a taboo, with many coming to a wall of budgetary ruins and not knowing how to overcome it. Time and time again, it has been said, "You will learn along the way, the older you get." The hour for change is passing by and many are ready to get on board.

A student awakening has begun and it's here for the long run.

Having students know entry-level skills for future careers, will be for many, one of their most prized possessions for successful coming times. As an educator working in an urban school, it is essential for students to have the necessary resources to enhance their education and life skills. May it be with what is already in store and what is to come There is no better way to do so if not during Club, for it is a smaller student group, giving students vital attentiveness.

My plan is to collectively, as a class, teach students to have a money-conscious mind with (budget planners, binders, etc.,) organization skills, and how to work with Microsoft (Excel, Word, Calendar, Email, etc,.) Meanwhile, having 1 on 1 time to show learners how to do resumes, cover letters, typing skills, interview process, etc., with the MacBook Pro and Headphones).
