My Project

I already have so many ideas for how the equipment will benefit the students at my school. As a teacher I realize the importance of unstructured outdoor play. My students love to go outside and play with their friends. They love to explore their surroundings and use their imaginations to create games and activities. Since the students are the ones creating the fun, they will need to use problem-solving skills which help build resilience and the ability to adapt.

Fresh air, sunshine, and open space are just some of the benefits of outdoor play.

Using the balls, building sets, and other equipment build motor skills, coordination, and fitness. The soft balls help build confidence and lessen the fear of getting hurt. Young children love to play school and house. The building supplies will allow them to create their own setting for their play.

Recess is by far the favorite time of the day for most kids. They get to do what they want, how they want, with whomever they want. Because there are no standards and requirements for the play, stress and anxiety are reduced.
