My Project

I have a great group of 5th grade students. Some of the students have not found their love of reading quite yet. With so many books to choose from, it can be hard to find a book that matches your reading level and sparks your interest.

This book club gives this group of students an opportunity to 'taste' different genres to include Mystery, Historical Fiction, and Fantasy.

Some of the books have been made into movies or tv shows which may help entice them to read the book. Once we finish the book, we'll have a viewing party and chat about which was better- the book or the movie! Help me create voracious readers by placing a variety of books in their hands.
