Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some of my students face a magnitude of issues daily. By having the tools readily available, such as a reading area (reading chairs), geometric manipulatives, getting a hands on experience in understanding money (coins), and being able to quickly record answers on their etch a sketches without having to worry about dry erase markers running out during a lesson, will aid me in providing a quality education for my students and prepare them for State Testing in April. Being able to provide basic necessities such as these, will make all the difference in their daily lives at school and will help prep them for the upcoming test. These supplies will help me to provide them with a normal school year post Covid! Since our school is a Title I school, it’s hard to get manipulatives that are needed for everyday math skills etc. Help me by providing my students with these necessities!
