My students are short on the basics such as pencils, crayons, folders, but most importantly, we're missing a meeting space for our group discussions. This year we will be focused on new and exciting hands on activities that will require us to all be together on the floor. We desperately need an area rug. My students would greatly benefit from this educational tool. It will help them to become comfortable participating in group settings and will help them to exercise their right to debate respectfully. These students deserve the very best and by having an area rug, they will be more engaged.
