My Students

We are a Transitional Kindergarten class full of excited early learners. We are learning how to be in school and working on skills that will help us to be successful for the rest of our school careers. We might be young, but we are hard workers, leaders, and friends.

Our school is located in the Sacramento area and is part of a district with a large and growing multicultural population.

Our school has a wide range of families and cultures. Thank you for your support.

My Project

Our class carpet is not just a place to gather and sit. It is where we build community, learn social skills and self regulation, and learn academic skills to prepare us for school and life.

Your donation would provide a new rug to improve our classroom environment and provide a fun and functional place for us to gather as a class.

We hold morning meetings, learn our alphabet and numbers, read, and move on our rug. It is a core part of our classroom routines and learning. We have an old classroom with an old, outdated rug. We are ready for an upgrade!
