As we learn how to read, listening to good readers is a good way to improve reading skills. Having a listening center will provide a way for students to listen to different kinds of stories and to practice listening and comprehension skills. I am asking for a simple listening center that is easy to set up and move. This listening center will allow a small group of students to listen to a story and practice important skills that will give them skills for becoming good readers. Reading is the best way to learn vocabulary, alphabet and phonics, and to have fun.
