My Project

A large carpeted area will allow for flexible seating as we gather in a circle for instruction and discussion in our science lab. A circle provides for a more equitable discussion and includes everyone in the topic. These students are eager to share, and this space will help structure that time. Aside from a group meeting space, this area will provide a place for students to build projects and organize their materials.

Imagine a team of three students planning out their science fair project.

They will have space to lay out their components and check their visual displays before assembling their presentation. It also sets aside some space to practice their oral presentations.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
