My Project

We are embracing and encouraging green thumbs with students! This year we are starting a gardening club in our Elementary School!

We are using national curriculum to teach students, Kindergarten to fifth grade, how to take care of a garden and what vegetation needs in order to survive.

Students will meet on a regular basis to take care of our garden with support of parents and staff by using the gardening tools provided. This is a great way to support student curiosity around plants and give them skills for their own gardens!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
