This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students I teach love to play games. I love to teach using games. The students gain so much more than basic knowledge, they are learning how to strategize, how to plan ahead, and how to work together.

These games check all the boxes.

While students play games, skills are being used, knowledge is being gained, and strategies are being developed. I have even chosen games that do not have a single winner, but the goal is met by working together. A great way for everyone to win and learn at the same time.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
