Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious and learn best through hands-on learning, also known as project-based learning. This year, we have had the opportunity to do some science labs that have been the highlight of my students' year thus far. As an end-of-the-year project, students will research an experiment, make a poster to exhibit the steps involved in the experiment, and to explain the science that the experiment is exhibiting, then present the experiment to the class. My class is a whole middle school, 6-8 grades, at a small rural public school.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
