My students need 5 copies of Adobe InDesign, in order to create our Literary Arts Journal.

We believe that students should have the power to express themselves artistically. Whether through visual arts, or poetry and prose. Therefore, we feel that it is absolutely essential for students to be able to publish their creative work.

Last year we started this creative journal and it was a real joy to produce. One of the difficulties we experienced was concerning the accessibility of desktop publishing software. Owning our own copy of Adobe InDesign will be very advantagious to the production of this journal.

IF we own 5 copies of Adobe InDesign, we will be able to ease the production of our journal. Then we will be able send the files to the printing company. One might ask themselve, "Why does it have to be THIS program?" Adobe InDesign is the cutting edge, top of the line program on the market today. It is widely used by many professionals, and is the preferred format of our printing company.

In today's culture, unfortunately, an emphasis has been placed on sports, and other non-artistic activities. We at Chiasmus feel it is our job, no, our responsibility help continue the most important thing in life. The Arts.
