My Project

There is a need in my classroom to help kids learn at a higher level. The children will be enriched through hands-on games and texts to foster collaboration and conversation. I chose mentor texts as well as learning flash cards to promote word work and thinking strategies. The hands-on math tools will help them be engaged through their rigorous thinking. As an advanced learning teacher it is my goal create lessons to meet their needs that help them continue to be excited to learn and to help my students become engaged in math and reading.
