Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As an innovative campus, all the students at our school take either Orchestra or Band to help them become more well-rounded individuals. Our school offers both Band and Orchestra at 4th grade, and they continue on to 6th grade. Over 90% of our students are on free or reduced-price lunch, so they rely on the help and goodwill of individuals like you to help keep their program running smoothly!

My Project

We are looking forward to rounding out our instrumentation here at Jefferson and adding some much needed Trombones to our band! Our general music classes will also get to benefit from the chromatic boomwackers that will help us to have more song options as we learn about pitch, rhythm and playing together in a group!

Your donation helps give these at-risk students more opportunities to see themselves in a creative field, and become the next innovative thinkers that we need in this world!
