My Project

My students are an energetic, inquisitive group of first graders. I have a wide range of learners that keep me “on my toes” to make sure I am meeting all of their needs.

These high-quality, engaging, and standards-aligned math games and activities will help address some deficiencies in number sense, fluency, and problem-solving skills by replacing rote memorization with playful, hands-on learning.

These materials will blend well with our curriculum and can be easily used with parent volunteers to work with small groups of children.

Students can easily use the games and share their learning with each other and the rest of the class at the end of our math session.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
