Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We all know the benefits of sports and especially in these difficult times for CCSD students. The practice of sports will keep them physically fit, keep the weight under control, improve cardiovascular endurance, improves academic results, improves concentration, increases self-esteem and self-confidence. Keeps them out of drugs, and decreases dropout rates.
I lot of students love the sport of soccer at a competitive level and a recreational level.
They love to play during P.E., lunch, and after school. I will love to create a project for all soccer lovers and their different levels of competition. I am a Physical Education teacher at LV High School with 75 percent of the students being Hispanic so I will like to be part of this important project.
