This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Middle school students break a lot of devices. It's just a fact of life. Part of my role is to ensure the devices get repaired quickly and get back into student hands with as little disruption to the educational process as possible.

When devices come back from repair, the batteries are often dead, and having enough USB-C chargers to wire into each grade-level Chromebook repair cart would allow me to give students fully repaired AND fully charged devices.

It's a small thing, but being able to give students a fully charged device means they won't miss a minute of learning, which is a HUGE thing.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
