This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students’ energy, kindness, curiosity, and willingness to learn something new every day. They work hard, encourage one another, and come to school ready to grow academically and socially. Seeing their excitement when they feel supported and successful is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

Providing snack resources will help ensure that students are focused, energized, and ready to learn throughout the school day.

Many students struggle to concentrate when they are hungry, and healthy snacks can improve attention, participation, behavior, and overall well-being. Having accessible snacks in the classroom also creates a caring and supportive environment where every child feels valued, comfortable, and prepared to succeed.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
