Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work very hard each day, and many of them need consistent access to quick, convenient snacks to help maintain their energy, focus, and engagement throughout the school day. Having a variety of individually packaged snack options ensures that all students can find something they enjoy while also supporting those who may come to school without adequate snacks from home.

This project will provide a wide assortment of familiar and kid-friendly snack options, including crackers, chips, cookies, and fruit-based treats.

Items such as Goldfish Crackers, Pringles Snack Stacks, Pop-Tarts, Oreo Minis, and Welch’s fruit snacks will give students enjoyable choices that help sustain attention during learning activities and testing periods.

In addition to snacks, juice options such as Capri Sun, Honest Kids juice boxes, and other 100% juice varieties will help keep students refreshed and hydrated throughout the day. These drink options are especially helpful during long instructional blocks and active learning times when students need a quick boost to stay focused and ready to learn.

By providing these snack and juice variety packs, my goal is to help remove barriers to learning and ensure that students can remain energized, attentive, and ready to participate fully in classroom instruction. A well-nourished student is better prepared to engage, think critically, and succeed academically.
