My Project

In our science classroom, students are actively engaged in hands-on learning, experiments, and collaborative activities that require focus, energy, and participation. To support a positive and productive learning environment, we use our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) system to encourage students to stay in their B.A.G.—demonstrating strong Behavior, Attendance, and Grades.

To help reinforce these expectations, we are requesting water, juice, and sports drinks like Gatorade to serve as incentives and support student wellness throughout the school day.

Hydration plays a critical role in student success. Many of our students come to school without access to beverages during the day, which can impact their concentration, energy levels, and overall performance. By providing drinks, we can ensure students stay refreshed, focused, and ready to learn.

These beverages will be used to:

Reward students who consistently meet PBIS expectations

Support students during labs, projects, and extended class activities

Encourage attendance and engagement in science lessons

Promote healthy habits and overall student wellness

When students feel supported and recognized, they are more motivated to participate, behave positively, and take ownership of their learning. Something as simple as a cold drink can make a big difference in a student’s day.
