My Project

My students are energetic, curious, and incredibly creative. They thrive when they can dive into hands-on, project-based learning, moving past standard worksheets to design, build, and innovate. However, a dynamic classroom requires a steady stream of resources to maintain momentum and daily supplies.

The Need: Everyday Essentials and Multimedia Technology

This project focuses on critical areas that will directly support our classroom instruction, student-led projects, and resource preservation throughout the entire school year:

Instructional Essentials & Preservation (Laminator): Basic school supplies—like copy paper, markers, and chart paper—are the lifeblood of our daily lessons. These high-use items naturally run out mid-year. Along with these essentials, a classroom laminator will allow us to preserve student work, anchor charts, reusable instructional mats, and project task cards so they withstand daily classroom use all year long.

Project Technology (Camera & Video Camera): To take our project-based learning to the next level, we need a digital camera and a video camera. These tools will allow students to critically document their engineering and design processes. Instead of just finishing a project, students will film video reflections, capture high-quality photos of their builds, and create digital portfolios that showcase their academic growth.
