Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth graders will begin state-mandated testing in the spring for language arts, math, and science, and these tests will be administered over the course of several weeks.

I am requesting water bottles for students to have at their desks during testing, as many often forget theirs at home, and they need to stay hydrated.

Additionally, I am requesting snacks to distribute to help them focus on completing their tests to the best of their ability. Snacks include crackers and fruit snacks. I am also requesting motivational stickers, and students can choose one daily to get them fired up to do their best.

Thank you VERY much for making time to read our project, and for choosing to bring “Fueled, Focused, & Fired Up!” to life for our children! I am extremely appreciative of any support you are able to give.
