This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how my students approach science with curiosity, creativity, and excitement. They thrive when they can see concepts come to life and interact directly with experiments. With the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, students will gain access to cutting-edge technology that enhances observation, documentation, and analysis in our science lab. They will be able to capture photos and videos hands-free from their own perspective, ask Meta AI questions to better understand experiments, and access real-time translations for international science content.

These glasses will give students the ability to document experiments as they perform them, providing a first-person perspective that deepens understanding.

For example, during biology dissections, chemistry experiments, or physics demonstrations, students can record precise steps and insights for later analysis or peer sharing. The built-in AI helps students contextualize observations, strengthening their critical thinking skills and reinforcing scientific methodology.

How Will This Project Make a Difference?

This project will give students access to the latest technology, allowing them to interact with science in a more immersive, hands-on way. My goal is for students to not only conduct experiments but also to analyze, document, and share their findings like real scientists. These skills—observation, documentation, and using technology responsibly—are essential for the next generation of innovators.

My students are special because they are curious, collaborative, and eager to explore. They engage deeply when learning is interactive and innovative. By providing this tool, students will experience science from a new perspective, gain confidence in using advanced technology, and develop a better understanding of the concepts we explore in the lab.
