From Classroom to Boardroom: Future Business Leaders at Work

Help me give my students materials to transform business and financial concepts into engaging, hands-on learning experiences as we build our new AP Business with Personal Finance course from the ground up for 2026–27 school year.

My Project

My students are future entrepreneurs, business leaders, employees, investors, and consumers—and they are eager to learn the skills that will help them confidently navigate the financial decisions waiting for them beyond high school.

Binders and dividers will be used to create a semester long AP portfolios organized by entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, management, and personal finance.

Dry-erase boards and markers will allow students to practice financial calculations, review concepts, and work through business decisions, while sticky notes, and colored supplies will support brainstorming, customer research, Business Canvas activities, marketing plans, case analyses, graphs, and group presentations.

Index cards and binder rings will provide a convenient way for students to study and review important AP vocabulary and concepts. Together, these materials will create an organized, hands-on learning environment where students can practice the skills they are learning and connect classroom concepts to real-world business and financial decisions.

I want my classroom to feel less like a traditional classroom and more like a place where students can think, collaborate, analyze, create, and make decisions like young business professionals.
