Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a seventh-year teacher and high school teacher, I am beyond excited to work with young adults. Aside from academics, team building, leadership skills, and classroom culture are my top priorities.

This year, as we return to school from winter break, I plan to continue to build relationships with my students and provide a safe, clean, and healthy classroom culture.

Working at a low-income school has its difficulties, but seeing the students every day is the reason I am there. Sometimes, my students share supplies, like scissors, and markers, and highlighters, and pens. I want to give them a peace of mind once they're finished borrowing supplies. Help me give my students hand sanitizer and wipes so they can stay clean and fresh!

I was able to purchase a bottle of hand sanitizer for each of my 9 table groups, but I know I will run out soon. Having a way to stay clean and germ-free is important here at school, whether be it a student or a table!
