My Project

My students love hands on learning, and cooking with them is a sure fire way to gain their interest and encourage participation. From procedural writing (or "How-To Books"), learning about measurement and fractions, and teaching about the food groups and healthy eating, incorporating cooking into our curricula is beneficial to student learning outcomes.

In order to cook with the class, basic ingredients like flour and sugar are needed, but these perishable items can quickly go stale or attract pests to our classroom.

Please help to provide our class with student friendly storage containers to hold all our valuable food items so that we may continue to learn through cooking!
