Students are using the new pop-its to \"pop\" the sounds they hear in words, helping them break the words down phonetically. Then, they write the word on a sticky note and bring it to one of the teachers for correction. From there, they copy the correct spelling into their brand new writing notebooks—also generously provided through this project! These notebooks are now becoming personal spelling references they can use all year long.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the fidgets you helped provide have been a wonderful tool for focus. Students are using them during independent reading time, and I've seen how the calm movement helps them stay engaged and relaxed as they read.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting additions to our classroom has been the TIME for Kids magazines. These allow students to experience nonfiction in an age-appropriate and exciting way—something many of them haven't had much exposure to before. Even better, they get to take the magazines home and share them with their families, which has extended learning and joy beyond our classroom walls.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide supplies—it gave my students tools to learn, focus, and grow in confidence.
