Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project requests packaged snacks such as various crackers like cheese crackers, fruits snacks, cookies, Oreos, goldfish, granola bars,beef jerkey, chips and more.

I found the value of having available snacks for students throughout the day.

It increases motivation and student learning.

Students not just in my classroom but the entire school freely come in and ask for snacks and drinks. Some students express that they ate lunch already but are still hungry. Most students check in during recess and after school to get or take home a snack. I take pride and would like to continue to provide students with necessary food items whenever they need them.
