Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come from food-insecure homes. Knowing that healthy food will always be available to them in our room will help ease their anxiety. Students also love choice, so offering a large variety of savory or sweet healthy snacks gives each child something to look forward to and keeps their brains active! Offering more nutritious choices for snacks instead of cookies and chips will also help my students learn about the food that fuels their brains and helps them understand better.

Giving students the chance to fuel up with natural snacks while working on their blended learning assignments will help them maximize their learning so they will achieve more!
