Every day I get to teach a group of empathetic, energetic, imaginative, and creative 4th graders. These kiddos are hardworking and happy to learn. They have a special interest in all things STEAM and love interactive activities that are hands-on. I feel blessed to get to spend each day with them!
My Project
The middle of our school year has come and gone and we are on the home stretch towards the end of the year! Help me give my students the supplies to finish the school year strong! I entitled this project Food For Thought because we know, thanks to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, that students aren't truly learning if their basic needs aren't being met. For this reason, I've included a few snacks that I would like to always have on hand for those kiddos that come to school without having a good breakfast.
Besides just helping my students to meet these basic needs, your support will also help provide my students with science materials (such as slinkies, musical instruments (for sound waves), math materials (Expo Markers for student use), and comic strips to help my students engage in language arts!
We have had a fantastic year and I hope to be able to end that year on a high note. Please help me to provide these supplies for my students to help me do so!
