Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a Title One school; all our students receive free breakfast and lunch. However, my 3rd graders don't have lunch for nearly four hours and need a little snack to get them through the morning. I have noticed a difference when they have something on the stomach because I have been providing snacks by tutoring for extra money.

To increase student(s) motivation, engagement, and incentivize them I am asking for candy like Starbursts for being a star student, Lifesavers when they help another student and Smarties when they answer correctly.
