My Project

Did you know that one in every eight homes struggle with food scarcity? We are a school that serve third through eighth grades in a high poverty area. Many of these students only eat when they are at school so these food bags will help feed 40 students and their siblings over the weekends and or over Thanksgiving Break which is a week long.

The largest company that employed most of our community closed as of a couple months ago.

Some were fortunate to find a job near by and be able to commute as others took a job with the company and have moved. Some of the adults do not have a GED and don't speak English so they are struggling with finding a job. We suspect the need for food will increase over the next couple months. We appreciate any help that we can receive. Thank you for your generosity!
