My Project

Students thrive when provided quality materials and curriculum paired with fun activities that draw them in. Folk dancing in our classroom is a sought-after lesson for all my students. Using authentic music and dance, we build on our musical skills while simultaneously providing physical activity and building cooperation and collaboration skills. This low-cost expenditure will provide lessons for all ages (kindergarten through fourth grade). I teach in two low socioeconomic buildings and these lessons, using games, dance scarves, and wands, reach many kids with great experiences that last a lifetime. My students and I thank you for helping fund this project.
